Subject: all over now/ big river/ jack straw/ lazy lightnin
The Jack straw opener is a GOOD one in the same class as but not up to syracuse, Carrier dome 10/84. A GOOD recording would REALLY help. im usually not a big fan of 'over now' but this is a smokin version. the big river is a good version as well. again, too bad the recording is sub-par.The Lazy lighnin is better than avg/GOOD as well. altogether a REALLY GOOD 1st set.although not included here the SUGAREE 2nd set opener is I believe the 2nd to last of the monumental guitar extravaganza's of over 17 minutes in length. Sugaree's expansion from a 7-9 minute ballad was originally expanded to multiple guitar break guitar extravaganza's in May of 77 when nearly every version is outstanding ditto Missizippi. the next and I believe final long, multi guitar break guitar extravaganza version of sugaree was in the fall of 84 at Niagra Falls(?) after the 2nd set opening killer sugaree its a bit down hill. again we need a better recording
